Andy Haines will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Fleetwood on Tuesday evening.
Haines was due to be in charge of the postponed game in late December and but will get his chance on Tuesday.
He has taken charge of one Rovers match so far this season – Rovers’ Sky Bet League One opener against MK Dons which ended in a 1-1 draw. He handed out three yellow cards that day with Ben Whiteman and Taylor Richards booked for Darren Moore’s men.
The Tyne & Wear based official has overseen 21 matches so far this season handing out 52 yellow cards and three reds.
On Tuesday, he will be assisted by Billy Smallwood and Daniel Woodward. Alan Clayton will be the fourth official.
