Rovers will be wearing James Coppinger’s gold third kit this weekend as they face Hull City in Sky Bet League One.
The kit was designed by Coppinger - with some help from his sons – and commemorates his 17 years at Rovers.
As well as displaying the 2004-2021 dates on the back of the shirt, the material is sublimated with the number 26 in the various styles and designs he has worn.
“We went for gold because it was a colour of celebration,” said Coppinger.
“It has become the fastest selling third shirt they have released here and it’s wonderful to think that I’ll always be in the fabric of this club.”
