Tom Anderson says the Rovers squad are looking forward to testing themselves against Premier League side West Ham United this weekend.

Rovers travel to the London Stadium for the Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie, and the captain says they head south full of belief.

He said: “It’s a massive game for us and a great opportunity to enjoy and show what we can do against a Premier League side.

“The stadium is iconic and it will be a good experience for us, they’ve got some brilliant players and we’re all looking forward to it.

“It’s a chance to test ourselves and give it our all, our approach will be the same and we have to go into it believing we can win.”

Having conceded just one goal so far in 2021, Anderson says the group have worked hard on getting results for each other.

He added: “I think the togetherness within the squad is what’s been key to recent results, everyone has been ready to go when called upon.

“I was very pleased with the clean sheet against Rochdale, I thought we deserved one against Swindon so it was good to tick that box.

“Ellery has come in between the posts and settled really well, we’ve kept that consistency in the way we defend which is important.”
