Branden Horton has been recalled from his loan spell at Redditch United while Charlie Seaman will remain at Maidstone United for the remainder of the season.
Horton has finished his loan spell at the Worcestershire club a few weeks early and has re-joined Rovers first team squad ahead of the Sky Bet League One match against Swindon Town on Saturday.
The left-back (who can also play centre back) got off to a good start in Redditch picking up valuable minutes and getting a taste of men’s football although various lockdowns and COVID restrictions have made for a stop-start campaign.
In line with plans laid out for Seaman’s development in October, the young right-back (who has recently been seen playing left wing) will be remaining on loan at Maidstone United until May.
Seaman has proven himself to be one of the Stone’s top performers so far in 2020/21 and is benefitting greatly from regular game time at a good standard. Rovers have the option of an extra year for the youngster who initially signed a one-year deal at the club.
