Darren Moore says he’s looking forward to his side challenging themselves against Sky Bet Championship side Blackburn Rovers this weekend.
Rovers travel to Ewood Park for the Emirates FA Cup third round tie, in what will be the second meeting between the two sides this season.
He said: “It’s going to be a good game, I’ve spoken before about how well structured they are as a club and they have some good players there.
“They’re having a good season so far and obviously we had a good look at each other when we played them back in August.
“Both teams are doing well and it’s a good one for us to challenge ourselves against opposition from a higher division.”
With the whole squad returning to Cantley Park this week after a period of self-isolation, Moore says he has tried to manage the workload put on the players.
He added: “The sessions we’ve had have been aimed at getting the sharpness back with the players, and they’ve coped well with that.
“They’ve obviously not been with us for 10 days or so and it’s important to manage things well now we’ve got them back.”
