Darren Moore says his players are ready to get going again in Sky Bet League One after almost a month without a league fixture.
Rovers travel to Swindon Town on Saturday, and the manager is anticipating a tough test from John Sheridan’s side.
He said: “It’s been a while since our last league game and we’ve prepared this week for a tough game at Swindon.
“They’ve changed a lot of their squad since we last played them so it will be a different team than we faced in December.
“We’ll work on a game plan and the players will know going into the game exactly what we need to do to get the three points.”
With 28 league games still to play this season, Moore is hoping to get as much work into his squad as possible leading into fixtures.
He added: “We’re trying to maximise the time we have with the players because of the busy schedule in the second-half of the season.
“We’ve had games postponed which we need to fit in and that will bring its own challenges further down the line.”
