Darren Moore wants his players to give it everything they’ve got when they face Premier League side West Ham United in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round this weekend.
Rovers travel to the London Stadium on the back of seven wins from their past eight fixtures, and Moore wants them to play the game rather than the occasion.
He said: “It’s a great game to look forward to, they are a good team with a really experienced manager in charge.
“I think the key for us is to play the game as we would any other, and look to give it our best shot when the game gets underway.
“They’re in wonderful form in the Premier League, but we’ve been doing well in League One so we’re going into it with confidence.
“It’s always been a special competition and we will treat it with the highest regard as long as we are in it.”
Moore admits his side will have to stay strong defensively with the Hammers’ having so many players capable of producing something special.
He added: “There will be spells in the game where we will come under pressure but we know that, and it’s something we’ve been working on.
“In and out of possession we’ve improved a lot this season, and that is a result of never being satisfied with where we’re at.
“A good cup run can give you momentum for the second-half of the league campaign, because it gives you that belief.”
