Moore won't take Wimbledon lightly

Darren Moore says he won’t be paying attention to the form table when Rovers take on AFC Wimbledon in Sky Bet League One on Tuesday night.

The Dons have taken just two points from their past nine league games, but Moore says his players won’t take them lightly.

He said: “We go with the same mindset into every game no matter the form of the opposition, we give teams respect but know what we have to do to win the game.

“We have to be prepared for whatever shape or formation they come with, that is the biggest thing we can focus on.

“Although we had a lot of the ball at their place they sat very deep and made it very difficult for us to find space.”

Moore has been impressed with the reaction his players have shown heading into the game after their exit from the Emirates FA Cup last time out.

He added: “We have to continue doing what we’ve been doing, you don’t want to lose games but fortunately we have a game coming up quickly.

“They seem fine in themselves and have already shown a reaction in terms of working hard to get a good result on Tuesday.”
