Seb Stockbridge will be the man in the middle when Rovers welcome Rochdale to the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Stockbridge has visited Doncaster once already this season – he oversaw the Papa John’s Trophy match between Rovers and Bradford City which Rovers won on penalties with heroics from Louis Jones.
The Tyne-based official has been on the EFL list of referees since the start of the 2013/14 campaign and is very experienced at this level. So far this season he has overseen 16 games handing out 54 yellow cards and two reds.
On Tuesday, he will be assisted by Gareth Mellor and Wayne Grunnill. The fourth official will be Thomas Bramall.
