Taylor Richards says confidence is high within the Rovers camp after the 2-0 win against AFC Wimbledon in Sky Bet League One.
Goals from the Brighton loanee and Fejiri Okenabirhie secured their third straight league win in 2021.
He said: “We play good football and like to get about the opposition too, a lot of our play was one and two touch which helped us.
“We weren’t at out best in the second-half but we managed the game really well and secured the three points.
“The back four have been brilliant recently and deserved their clean sheet, and that gives us the momentum going into the next game.”
Richards is one of several young players making their mark in a Rovers shirt this season, and he says that is a result of the trust put in them by manager Darren Moore.
He added: “We’ve got a lot of young players keen to make an impact, and we’re repaying the manager’s faith in selecting us.
“No matter who is selected we all know our roles and give everything to make sure we come away with a positive result.
“I’m playing regularly and that is the most important thing as a young player, I’m just trying to show what I can do.”
