Elliot Simoes says the whole team is focused on the league following their exit from the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday and he believes they will have no problem picking themselves up after defeat.
Rovers will face AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday evening as Darren Moore’s men look to continue their winning run in Sky Bet League One.
“We have to bounce back from a defeat, but we’re ready to show that we can do that,” Simoes said.
“We’ve been playing well and we’re really focused on the league. Everyone knows what the plan is and we go into every game with a positive mind set - we’ll be looking to do that again on Tuesday.”
Simoes was Darren Moore’s second January signing joining early in the window but he believes he still had a lot more to give and that the volume of games coming up will help him do that.
“I’m physically and mentally ready for the rest of the season,” he added.
“I’m really excited when I look at the number of games because every one of them is an opportunity when I could be playing.
“The moment I knew that I could go on loan, Doncaster was the first club that I really wanted to go to because it’s a team that plays football and trusts their players to express themselves.
“I think I can do more and that there’s a lot more to come from me. It’s just a matter of time until that first goal and first assist come in and then who knows?”
