Tiago Cukur believes Rovers is the right club for him to continue his development in the English game.
The Turkish youth international joins the club on a season-long loan from Premier League Watford.
“I’m excited to be here,” said Cukur
“I had a couple of other options but when this club came in, it just felt right.
“It’s a good club. I’ve watched a couple of games and spoken to the manager about how the team want to play.
“The manager played a big part in me coming here. He gave me the right feeling about coming here."
Joining the Hornets in January of this year, the 18-year-old has been impressing in the U23s but feel now is the right time to test himself in the men’s game.
“It’s been a good couple of months with Watford and I’ve been training a bit with the first team but I think it’s the right time to play men’s football,” he added.
“I’m absolutely buzzing to be here and I can't wait to start meeting all the players. I feel like it’s going to be a good season.”
