An entertaining end-to-end game between Rovers and Newcastle United ends 3-2.
Newcastle took an early two goal lead thanks to goals by Ryan Fraser and Sean Longstaff, but Rovers were quick to respond with Tommy Rowe tapping home just before the half-hour mark.
The visitors extended their lead soon after the break with but Callum Wilson put in a calm finish after being released on the break. Omar Bogle got another back for Rovers with a smart glancing header which nestled just inside the back post.
