The Carabao Cup first round draw and Papa John’s Trophy draw will take place on Thursday June 24 at 3.40pm and 4.30pm respectively. Both draws will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Carabao Cup
A total of 35 fixtures will be drawn for round one and will include all sides in Sky Bet League Two, One and the Championship with the exception of West Bromwich Albion and Fulham join the competition in round two alongside the Premier League Clubs that are not competing in Europe.
Rovers will be draw ball 11.
The round one draw will see teams drawn in Northern and Southern sections, with matches scheduled to take place week commencing August 9.
Papa John’s Trophy
Rovers are in Group E and will face Rotherham United and Scunthorpe United with the invited U21 team to be determined by the live draw at 4.30pm.
