Rovers can confirm defender Reece James will leave the club to join Sky Bet Championship side Blackpool when his contract comes to an end.
James was offered a new deal at the Keepmoat Stadium but was open about the fact that he wanted to test himself at Championship level.
In two years with Rovers, the 27-year-old made 80 appearances and scored nine goals.
