Rovers will head to the Banks's Stadium to face Walsall in the Carabao Cup first round.
This will be the first time the two sides have met since Walsall were relegated from Sky Bet League One at the end of the 2018/19 season. During that campaign, Rovers took six points from the Saddlers with a 3-1 home win and a 4-1 away win.
This will be the first time the two clubs have met in the League Cup.
Matches are scheduled to take place on the week beginning August 9, however clubs are able to mutually agree an alternative date between 31 July and 4 August. All match details will be confirmed in due course.
