Following the phenomenal success of Rovers' 2020/21 third kit, James Coppinger has agreed to work with technical kit supplier Elite Pro Sports (EPS) on designing Rovers’ home shirt for next season.
The gold charity kit - which was designed by Coppinger with some input from his sons and the EPS team - was the fastest selling third kit in the club’s history. The original stock sold out at an incredible rate with the additional stock being snapped up almost as quickly.
Coppinger said: “I really enjoyed designing the third kit and it was great to see such a positive reaction to it from the supporters.
“It was a no-brainer for me when EPS asked if I wanted to be involved with the kit design again for next season. It’s obviously a different challenge with the home shirt being the uniform, if you like, that the lads will be wearing the most but I’m looking forward to it.
“I’ll use my experiences of kits I enjoyed playing in for the design but I've also got some people I can speak to for tips and advice on kit design – people who are passionate about football kits and design generally. It will be great to work with EPS again.”
