Jason Lokilo feels he is getting back to his best after a frustrating start to the season from a personal point of view.
A couple of minor injuries prevented the winger from getting a regular run in the team, but he has taken his opportunities since the turn of the year.
He said: “It was a tough start to the season for me with an injury but I feel like my levels have gone up since January.
“I’m still not where I want to be but I think the more games I get then I can show more of what I can do.
“My fitness has improved a lot and I feel much sharper, that means that now I can contribute a lot more.”
Rovers go up against Northampton Town in Sky Bet League One this weekend, and Lokilo is expecting a physical encounter.
He added: “Every team are capable of good performances on their day so we won’t take Northampton lightly and treat them with respect.
“They are a physical team and that is something we’re looking forward to facing, we know if we’re on our game then we’ve got a good chance of getting a result.
“Every team is trying to win points for different reasons at this stage of the season and it is a case of who wants it more.”
