Ben Speedie will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday evening.
Speedie was promoted to the National List of Referees during the summer of 2020 following a successful campaign in the National League.
Tuesday will mark the first time he has overseen a Rovers match but the second time he has officiated for Crewe. He was in charge when the Railwaymen fell to a 1-0 home defeat against Lincoln City in October.
Speedie has overseen 23 games so far this seasons, handing out 67 yellow cards and four reds.
On Tuesday, he will be assisted by Kenwyn Hughes and Andrew Hendley. Graham Salisbury will be the fourth official.
