Will Finnie will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Gillingham for Saturday’s Sky Bet League One match.
The Luton-based official was promoted to the National List of Referees in the summer of 2019. This will be the first time he has taken charge of a Rovers game, but he was the fourth official for Rovers’ home win over Plymouth Argyle earlier in the month.
So far this season, Finnie has taken charge of 26 matches handing out 73 yellow cards and three reds.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Christopher Wade and Aaron Farmer. The fourth official will be Carl Brook.
