Ben Toner will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Lancashire-based official is very experienced having joined the National List of Referees in 2015 and has taken charge of many Rovers matches over the past six years.
He first oversaw a Rovers game in his debut season – a 2-2 home draw with Swindon Town – while his most recent outing at the Keepmoat Stadium was a 2-0 home win for Rovers over Shrewsbury Town in 2020. Goals for Niall Ennis and Tom Anderson ensured a comfortable victory that day.
So far in this campaign, Toner has taken charge of 24 matches handing out 70 yellow cards and two reds.
On Tuesday, he will be assisted by Ryan Whitaker and Michael Chard. The fourth official will be Ravel Cheosiaua.
