Fejiri Okenabirhie is hoping his goals can help Rovers cement their position in the top six come the end of the Sky Bet League One season.
The No.9 has scored 12 goals in all competitions so far, and says he is really enjoying his time at the club.
He said: “I’m trying to keep scoring goals and if I do that hopefully that will keep the team in the play-off places.
“I’ve managed to get goals whether I’m down the middle or out wide, I try and get in good areas and that has paid off.
“I’ve been here for more than a year now and I feel like it’s going really well, I’m happy and really enjoying my time here.”
Rovers travel to face Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday night, and Okenabirhie says the squad must head there with confidence.
He added: “When we last played them we were very clinical with the opportunities we had, we tried to be inventive around the box and scored some brilliant goals.
“We need to show that individual skill again to break teams down, we’ve shown if we reach a certain level then we’ll give anyone a good game.”
