Rovers ranked seventh in Fan Insight’s Fan Engagement Index for the 2019/20 season.
The index ranks all 92 professional teams based on their interactions with supporters, how fans help with the club’s governance, and the transparency of supporter meetings.
Rovers are proud to boast a constant dialogue with fans via the supporters’ board and forums and have continued to hold these throughout the COVID-19 pandemic via online platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Chief executive Gavin Baldwin said: “We’re pleased to once again be ranked among the top ten teams across the top four divisions for Fan Engagement.
“We know how important the fans are to this football club – that’s become even more clear throughout the past 12 months - and our supporters board act as a sounding board for us when we’re making decisions while they also come to us with suggestions which help us to improve.
“The Index is much more than just a look at the activities that take place on matchdays – this is a detailed statistical analysis of the activities of all 92 professional clubs and it holds us to account. For this, we are very proud to be ranked so highly for the second season in a row.”
