Right-back Charlie Seaman has signed a new two-year deal with Rovers keeping him at the club until 2023.
The 21-year-old joined Rovers in the summer of 2020 following a successful trial period which included game time against Manchester United U23s. In the absence of an U23s team, he immediately went out on a season-long loan to Maidstone United in order to get vital game time and first-team experience.
The AFC Bournemouth Academy product had an impressive spell for The Stones providing goals and assists on top of doing his defensive duty until the National League South season was curtailed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Because of FA and EFL loan rules, Seaman has been unable to make his Rovers debut since returning to the club for the latter stages of the season but has said that being around the squad has improved him as a player and is getting him ready to hit the ground running for the new campaign.
