Club Doncaster Foundation, the charitable arm of Doncaster’s elite sports clubs have become the official charity partner of this year’s Big Bang firework display.
Doncaster’s best firework display will take place at the Keepmoat Stadium today (November 5) and promises to be one of the biggest and best yet with record advance ticket sales.
The Foundation work with a wide range of partners to provide sport and physical activity opportunities to anyone within the Doncaster community and surrounding areas.
They work across four key areas, inclusive of health, education and community engagement delivery with a total of 35 projects and working with over 7000 people a year.
John Davis, chief executive of the Foundation said: ““We are delighted to be the chosen charity for this year’s Big Bang event. As a charity it is our mission to improve the lives of people across the borough through education, community provision or inclusion and every donation we get helps us to support more people.
The Foundation will have staff and a stall situated in the East Stand concourse at the event where you can support them in purchasing from their candle shop (with a variety of scented candles on sale) along with entering into a prize draw, with all proceeds going to the charity.”
