Joe Dodoo spoke to the media following the 2-0 defeat at Burton Albion in Sky Bet League One.
Goals from Tom O’Connor and Daniel Jebbison sealed the win for the Brewers at the Pirelli Stadium.
On the players sticking together:
“We’re on a run where it’s not falling for us but we need to stick together and fight for the club.
“We can’t feel sorry for ourselves, whenever results go against us we need to look in the mirror and take responsibility.
“You’re not going to get the perfect environment to play football in and we lost the battle against them.”
On his form:
“I only had half chances but in the situation we’re in they are big ones, I was just disappointed I couldn’t take them.
“As a more experienced player it’s important for me to encourage the younger players to keep their heads up.
“I’m playing regularly and I’d like to contribute with more goals, we’ve been inconsistent and we need to find some stability in our performances.”
