Louis Jones spoke to the media after the 0-0 draw against Lincoln City at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper earned a clean sheet in his first Sky Bet League One start of the season.
On working hard to pick up a point:
“I thought we did well and had chances to win it towards the end, but overall a point was probably about right.
“There were times in the game where we had to dig in, so once we’d done that we gained in confidence.
“We’re becoming harder to beat which is a massive positive and means we have something to build on.”
On the added bonus of a clean sheet:
“It’s really positive for me to get a clean sheet in my first league game in front of supporters.
“I’m happy to show them what I’m about and I’ve worked hard to stay ready whenever I’m needed.
“The manager told me to carry on the work I’ve been doing in training, and I knew I had the foundations behind me to have a good game.”
