Papa John's Trophy second round draw details

11 November 2021

Rovers' 3-2 victory over Scunthorpe United on Tuesday evening sealed a place in the second round of the Papa John's Trophy.

The team find out who they will face in the second round draw shown live on Sky Sports on Saturday, November 13.

The draw will take place at the conclusion of a televised Sky Bet League Two match between Port Vale and Bradford City and will be conducted by former Newport County boss Michael Flynn and former Port Vale, Coventry City and Brighton and Hove Albion player Chris Birchall.

Round two contains 32 teams split regionally into a Northern and Southern section with group winners drawn at home. The draw is also split so that teams who played each other in the group stage cannot play each other in second round.

This means that Rovers will be away from home at either Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United, Crewe Alexandra or Bolton Wanderers. Rovers will be draw ball number 13.

Round Two ties will be played week commencing 29 November.
