A new post has been created within the medical department to support the Head of Club Doncaster Medical in his daily work primarily within football environment. The person will support all areas of the senior programme, and will have the opportunity to support across the Club Doncaster sporting group as whole to gain a holistic view of the medical and therapy team.
We are looking for the right candidate so welcome applications from a wide range of experienced backgrounds, and persons looking for both full and part time opportunities. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, and report to the Head of Club Doncaster Medical in the treatment of injuries across the club, delivering a culture of accountability, injury prevention, rehabilitation and multi-disciplinary support and working.
It is essential that candidates must have attained either a Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy degree qualification and be either HCPC or MSST registered. Candidates will also have at least 1 year of post-graduate experience working within an elite sports environment and possess an understanding of medical and sport related systems such as the PMA and Benchmark54 noting systems. Furthermore, candidates are required to have either the FA pitch side ITMMiF or ATMMiF qualification or be willing to undertake this qualification to progress within the role.
Candidates will also be assessed during the recruitment process the ability to demonstrate their understanding in assessing, rehabilitating and dealing with the medical needs of our players at all times.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate effectively with players, staff and senior management and be adaptable and innovative.
