Richie Wellens spoke to the media ahead of the trip to Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night.
Rovers are looking to build on the goalless draw with Lincoln City in Sky Bet League One last time out.
On being harder to beat in recent weeks:
“The first stage of us recovering from the places we’ve been this season is to become more difficult to beat.
“We’ve started to do that and the next stage now is being able to win games on a consistent basis.
“It’s with what we’ve had available, we’re picking up more injuries but starting to look more solid.”
On what he expects from Bolton:
“I know Bolton have picked up injuries but they’re a massive football club at this level no matter who is on the pitch.
“Their ambitions will be to be towards the top end of the pitch, I’ve been at three of their games recently and they are a good team going forward.
“Ian Evatt has got a squad of players he can trust and they are trying to kick on, but it’s important that we take our momentum there and try to get another result.”
