Tom Anderson spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s game against Wycombe Wanderers in Sky Bet League One.
Rovers are looking to make it three home wins on the bounce at the Keepmoat Stadium.
On building recent momentum:
“I think we’ve got to look at how well we did against MK Dons and take it into this weekend.
“Taking away the Ipswich result our performances recently have been much better.
“We’ve found a way to get results at home recently and it’s about building on that now and continuing to do the basics right.
“If we have 11 players doing their job right on the pitch then you’ve got a great chance of winning any game.”
On facing a physical Wycombe side:
“They are very good at what they do, and have players who have been there for a while.
“It might not be the prettiest on the eye but they know what they’re good at and we need to nullify the threat.
“We have to compete and win our tackles and headers, because that is where the game will be won and lost.”
