Tom Anderson spoke to the media following the 1-0 defeat at Gillingham in Sky Bet League One.
Rovers were beaten at Priestfield Stadium after being unable to capitalise on a strong first-half performance.
On a missed opportunity:
“Before we came into this game we were looking at the next few and saying how important it was to pick up points.
“First-half we dominated it and kept them quiet, but when you’re on top you have to put your chances away.
“We know it’s difficult coming here and we’ve got to be better at dealing with games and tough periods.”
On having to be more resolute:
“It’s about learning quickly how to grind out a result, a point would have been a decent result.
“It’s a deflated dressing room, we felt at half-time like a goal was coming but we didn’t build on it.
“Staying in any game is crucial and we gave them too many opportunities to launch the ball into the box.”
