Ben Close spoke to the media ahead of this weekend’s game against MK Dons in Sky Bet League One.
The 25-year-old says the team must show a response from the midweek defeat at Ipswich.
On focusing on Saturday:
“We’ve got to put what has happened behind us and go into the game believing we can win it.
“If we do the basics right then we’ll see where that takes us, but that is crucial.
“We’ve got the talent in the group to get results at this level, we’ve learnt a lot from Tuesday night.”
On his own start to the campaign:
“I am quite self critical, I’ve had a lot of time to look at my own performance after every game.
“I’m honest with myself and I feel like I’ve had some good games and some off games.
“My aim is to be consistent every week and help the team to win games, that is where we all want to get to.
“I think everyone should be looking at themselves at present and seeing where they can improve.”
