Club Doncaster Sports College (CDSC) have created a pathway to work with additional work experience opportunities within the Club Doncaster family.
The programme – overseen by head of people and culture Kirsty Cavanagh – will provide students from the college with work related skillsets within the sports industry.
Kirsty said: “It’s always been within the remit at Club Doncaster to empower local young people to be able to work in elite sport and within the community.
“While this has always been in place informally through the Club Doncaster Sports College, we’re really excited to be able to launch this programme this year which will formalise the placements within the new education structure.
“I believe this will provide incredible work experience opportunities that within elite sport and upskill the people we work with.”
CDSC sports lecturer Nathan Fawley added: “We’re always asking the question ‘what can we bring to our students to help them gain a skillset?’
“With the vast opportunities within the Club Doncaster family, this is going to allow students to upskill in lots of different areas within the industry professional sport.
“This is going to provide pathways which fit in to our student’s futures and widen their capabilities.”
