Galbraith happy to do a job for the team

24 October 2021

Ethan Galbraith spoke to the media following the 3-2 win over Cheltenham Town in Sky Bet League One.

The 20-year-old produced a brilliant individual display as he stood in at right back for the suspended Kyle Knoyle.

On playing where the team needed him:

“I was with the United first-team in pre-season and played at right back so I don’t mind doing a job there.

“We’ve had a bit of a shortage there at the minute and the gaffer asked me if I could fill in.

“I’ll do anything for the team and we all worked together to earn the three points.”

On the team’s performance:

“We were the better team and dominated the game for an hour, that’s the level we want to be at every week.

“We’ve been playing well recently without the results so we’ve proved a bit of a point today.

“Goals give you confidence and you could see the lads were playing with a bit of a weight off our shoulders.

“The main thing now is to build on this and that has been the message in the dressing room.”
