Oliver Vadaine’s second-half header sealed three points for the home side. Rovers had probably had the best of the opening half and Kyle Knoyle could have – and perhaps should have – opened the scoring after four minutes but the visitors struggled to really trouble keeper Jamie Cumming.
The second half saw Rovers have to deal with long ball after long ball into the box and Oliver was eventually able to capitalise from a corner. Rovers best chance falling to Tiago Cukur’s whose right-footed shot was tipped around the post.
