Rovers’ junior football day held on Saturday October 2 was a success with a 25 local junior football teams taking up the opportunity to attend the home match vs MK Dons at a discounted price of £50 per team.
The junior footballers, alongside their teammates and family members, were there to watch as Tiago Cukur’s late winner to secure an important three points for Rovers against high-flying MK Dons.
The junior football team who sold the highest number of tickets in total will soon be contacted to take part in an exclusive experience, including training with the Club Doncaster Foundation coaches, flag bearing pre-game and penalties on the home pitch at half-time in the company of Donny Dog.
Marketing manager Mark Hughesman said: “We were delighted with the success of the offer, and it was fantastic to see so many young fans in the stands.
“We’re always trying to find ways to reach out to and engage with our local community and bring future fans through the turnstiles. We hope that everyone who attended the game enjoyed their day and we’re looking forward to running this offer again in the future.”
