Officials confirmed for Cheltenham Town tie

21 October 2021

Neil Hair will be the man in charge when Rovers host Cheltenham Town on Saturday.

The man from Cambridge last took charge of a game in February 2021 – a 4-1 away defeat to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Prior to that, he has over seen three Rovers games since his promotion to the National List of Referees in 2019: an away win at Gillingham in 2018, a 2-2 draw at home to Burton Albion in November 2019, and a 1-1 draw with Rochdale in February 2020.

Before becoming an EFL referee, he was awarded the honour of overseeing the Football Conference Play-Off Final played at Wembley Stadium.

So far this campaign, he has overseen nine matches and has handed out 25 yellow cards and no reds.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Daniel Woodward and Alan Clayton. The fourth official is Conor Brown.
