Sam Purkiss will be the man in charge when Rovers travel to Gillingham on Tuesday night.
The London-based official was promoted to the National List of Referees ahead of the 2018/19 season.
He is yet to take charge of a Rovers match but was fourth official on April 27 when Rovers drew 2-2 all with Peterborough United at the Weston Homes Stadium.
So far this season, he has overseen ten matches handing out 38 yellow cards and two reds.
He will be assisted by Daniel Cook and Stephen Brown. Alan Young will the fourth official.
