Jon Taylor spoke to the media after the 2-0 defeat to Wycombe Wanderers in Sky Bet League One.
The winger made his return to action after seven months out with an ankle injury.
On being back out on the pitch:
“It’s been far from ideal and I’ve had a few setbacks, it’s made me stronger mentally and I’m happy to be back out there.
“I’ve been watching the lads and I couldn’t wait to be back involved with the fans back.
“I love playing football and I love playing for this club so I can’t wait until I’m fully fit.”
On the result:
“We didn’t start well and it’s disappointing because we’d worked hard on defending set pieces.
“The lads did well without threatening too much but going behind against a team like Wycombe makes things so difficult.”
