Richie Wellens spoke to the media ahead of the game against Wycombe Wanderers in Sky Bet League One this weekend.
Rovers go into the game looking to make it three straight home league victories.
On the return of Jon Taylor:
“Jon will lead us on how he’s feeling and when he’s ready to step it up a gear.
“When I’m looking to sign players I want promotions on their CV, Tayls has that experience and it’s so important.
“He knows what is required at this level, he is infectious around the dressing room and a real outlet on the pitch.”
On what he expects from Wycombe:
“Wycombe will test us physically, we need to make sure we’re bang on it off the ball.
“They are a club that have gone up to the Championship and used the finances of coming back down to put together a strong squad.
“We’ve played a few stable clubs like Wycombe recently, I like the way Gareth Ainsworth’s teams play.
“He’s done a great job and there is a big demand on the physical output which is clear to see.”
