Tiago Cukur spoke to the media ahead of Rovers’ game against Ipswich Town in Sky Bet League One.
The Turkish striker feels he is getting closer to full fitness after a tough start to the league campaign.
On his work off the pitch:
“It was a tough first few weeks for me getting up to speed with my fitness but now I feel like I’m getting sharper every day.
“The last two games I felt strong and I think that showed in my performances.
“I know what I can do and why the manager brought me here, the goals will come for me and I’ll keep pushing to add them to my game.”
On the team improving:
“We’re building towards what we want, we’re getting better and creating more chances so the key now is to do that on a regular basis.
“We had a meeting talking about the fact we’ve been in every single game, it is the fine margins we need to improve on.”
