Branden Horton spoke to the media ahead of Tuesday night’s Papa John’s Trophy tie against Rotherham United.
The left-back made his debut in the competition in 2018, and has made a further 18 first-team appearances since then.
On his development:
“I’ve had a start in the league this season which is pleasing personally but it’s disappointed that we haven’t picked up a win yet.
“I was hoping to be involved a fair bit and I’ve come off the bench a few times so far.
“The manager gave the same message to everyone when he first came in, we had a fresh start and I was determined to impress.”
On making the most of the Papa John’s Trophy:
“We want to win every game we play, the fans will be wanting us to put a performance in and that is our aim.
“It’s a chance for the young lads to kick on, get minutes and show the manager what they can do.”
