Officials confirmed for MK Dons

30 September 2021

Andrew Kitchen will be the referee in charge for Rovers’ next league game at home to MK Dons on Saturday.

It has been a fast rise for Kitchen into officiating the professional game joining the National List of Referees in August.

This will be his first League One game and the first time officiating either side.

Apart from his last match, Kitchen has handed out at least two yellow cards in each of his league games this season. However, he has sent a player off this season - Harrogate Town’s Jack Diamond, for two bookable offences.

The man from County Durham officiated the National League semi-final between Torquay United and Notts County last season.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Hristo Karaivanov and Matthew Smith. Robert Madley will be the fourth official.
