Will Finnie will be the man in charge as Rovers host Morecambe in Sky Bet League One on Saturday.
The Luton-based official will be making his first trip to the Keepmoat Stadium this weekend. This is just the second time he has overseen a Rovers match – previously presiding over a 2-2 away draw at Gillingham in March 2021.
Since his promotion to the National List of Referees in 2019, Finnie has established himself in League One. This season he has taken charge of six matches (three League One, two Carabao Cup and one Papa John’s Trophy tie) handing out ten yellow cards and one red.
On Saturday, Finnie will be assisted by Paul Stonier and Declan Ford. Mark Dwyer will be the fourth official.
