A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and knowledgeable Crowd Doctor to join the operations team and provide match day medical cover at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The Crowd Doctor will report to the Safety Officer with duties including;

  • Provision of emergency medical cover for the crowd at matches at the stadium.
  • Development and implementation of medical best practice policies and procedures, including the Emergency Action Plan(s).
  • Undertaking CPD as prescribed by the EFL, FA and internal club CPD.

The ideal applicant will have experience as an event doctor and be fully conversant with the duties involved. The candidate must currently be registered with the GMC in pre-hospital (immediate) care and major incident management, and it is important for the successful applicant to possess suitable medical indemnity insurance.

Completion of the Immediate Medical Care “Crowd Doctor” course by the Faculty of Pre-hospital Care, or an equivalent, would also be desirable.

This role requires flexibility on Saturday afternoons, midweek evenings and public holidays with attendance at all first team home fixtures.

The successful candidate will be supported by the Club through CPD opportunities.
