Richie Wellens spoke to the media ahead of this weekend’s trip to Plymouth Argyle in Sky Bet League One.
Rovers travel to Home Park looking to make it three straight wins in all competitions.
On Plymouth’s threat:
“I’ve watched a lot of games at this level over the past two months, and it’s not always the team that is best to watch who comes away with the wins.
“They have a group of players that have worked under the same manager for a couple of seasons.
“We know how they’re going to play, but they do it really well. They’re on a good run but obviously got pegged back in the last minute on Tuesday.
“They consolidated last season and have added two or three players to enable them to kick on.”
On the challenge of a long away trip:
“The next couple of games are challenging mentally for the players, they have to get used to these long away trips.
“We’ll advise and manage them, particularly the ones that haven’t experienced it before.
“We’ll give them Plymouth’s games to watch while we’re on the way down to keep them busy.”
