Declan Bourne has been appointed referee for Rovers’ clash with Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
The Nottinghamshire official has taken charge of 21 matches this term, with the majority coming in Sky Bet League Two. He has issued 83 yellow cards and two red across those games.
Having only been promoted to the status of an EFL match official last term, this will be only the second time Bourne has refereed a Rovers game. He oversaw last season’s 2-1 home win over Plymouth Argyle.
Bourne will be assisted by Ravel Cheosiaua and Marvyn Amphlett on Saturday while Declan Ford has been assigned fourth official duties.
