Prior to the funeral, the cortege will be conducting a lap of Eco-Power Stadium at around 8.45am.
Club operations will be suspended in the morning while staff attend the funeral. As a result of this, Club Doncaster Box Office will be closed until 1pm. You can still purchase any tickets here while Box Office is closed.
Following the funeral family and friends will return to the Eco-Power Stadium and take part in a minutes applause pitchside before gathering at the Belle Vue Bar to celebrate Richard’s life.
Richard’s family have respectfully requested family-only flowers and that anyone wishing to make a donation should do so to Cancer Research UK (CRUK).
