All at Doncaster Rovers are sad to hear of the death of our former full back Harold Wilcockson at the age of 78.
Wilcockson was part of the squad that lifted the Division Four title in the 1968/69 season under the guidance of Lawrie McMenemy and made 122 appearances for Rovers across two spells.
Born in Sheffield, he arrived at Belle Vue in 1967 from neighbours Rotherham United, remaining for two years before joining hometown club Sheffield Wednesday.
He returned to Rovers in 1971 for another two year spell.
